9508 meters! my country's first deep offshore well goes into production: daily crude oil production exceeds 700 tons

It is reported that the well has a drilling depth of 9,508 meters and a horizontal displacement of 8,689 meters, making it the deepest offshore well in my country. It also set a record for the horizontal length of drilling in my country, marking my country’s success in overcoming large displacements of 10,000 meters. Well technology bottleneck, offshore ultra-far and ultra-deep drilling technology has entered the forefront of the world.

The Enping 21-4 oil field is located in the sea about 200 kilometers southwest of Shenzhen. Its average water depth is about 86 meters. It is a small sandstone marginal oil field. In the past, the development of such oil fields was often troubled by technical difficulties and economic efficiency issues. However, by using ultra-deep extended-reach well technology, CNOOC has successfully achieved efficient development of the oil field, with a tested daily crude oil production of more than 700 tons, demonstrating huge development potential.

It is worth mentioning that the successful commissioning of the ultra-deep extended reach well in the Enping 21-4 oil field not only set four national records, but also formed 13 records in five categories. technical achievements.
