Among them, 17 ceramic companies were bankrupt and liquidated in Guangdong Province, 6 in Jiangxi (4 of which were merged and bankrupt), 2 in Guangxi, 2 in Hebei, 5 in Shandong, and 1 each in Shanghai, Sichuan, Anhui, and Inner Mongolia. .

Often involved in debt disputes
Rough statistics show that in 2020, 17 ceramic companies in Guangdong went bankrupt and liquidated, involving multiple ceramic production areas such as Foshan, Qingyuan, Zhaoqing, and Jiangmen.
Among them, in May 2020, the People's Court of Chancheng District, Foshan City, Guangdong Province ruled to accept the reorganization application of Foshan Lihua Ceramics. On August 6, it ruled to approve the company's reorganization plan.
Tianyancha shows that Foshan Lihua Ceramics has been involved in multiple sales contract disputes, labor contract disputes, financial loan contract disputes, power supply and use contract disputes, construction project contract disputes, and contract contract disputes since 2017. In 2020 alone, the ceramics company was involved in more than 100 disputes.
In addition, "Ceramic Information" found through inquiries that most of the ceramic companies in bankruptcy and liquidation in Guangdong Province were involved in many debt dispute cases.
For example, Guangdong Xinshunjing Ceramics Co., Ltd. was involved in 73 sales contract dispute cases, 41 labor dispute cases, 35 financial loan dispute contract cases, in addition to many completed project construction dispute cases. At the same time, the ceramic company has been listed as a person subject to execution for dishonesty many times because it has been involved in 53 cases in total and failed to perform all of them.
Six ceramic companies in Jiangxi went bankrupt
Hexin, Hong Kong Chen, Qingyuan and Taylor merged and went bankrupt
According to incomplete statistics, 6 ceramic companies in Jiangxi Province applied for bankruptcy liquidation in 2020. Among them, Jiangxi Hexin Ceramics, Gangchen Ceramics, Qingyuan Ceramics, and Tailai Ceramics are actually registered in the same ceramics factory, which is a merged bankruptcy case.
On the morning of July 29, 2020, the first creditors’ meeting of the bankruptcy of Jiangxi Jiajia Ceramics Co., Ltd. was held at the Dongxiang District People’s Court of Fuzhou City. The creditor Jiangxi Dongxiang Rural Commercial Bank Co., Ltd. applied to the Dongxiang District People's Court for bankruptcy liquidation of Jiangxi Jiajia Ceramics Co., Ltd. on the grounds that Jiangxi Jiajia Ceramics Co., Ltd. was unable to pay off its due debts and was seriously insolvent.
As of July 29, 2020, the People's Court of Dongxiang District, Fuzhou City has received 95 declarations from creditors, with a total declaration amount of 287534884.8 yuan. These include 6 financial loans: 142,584,093.7 yuan; 6 project payments: 3,600,922.59 yuan; 3 employee wages: 449,579.46 yuan;40 private loans: 100,138,068 yuan; 33 loans: 353,01697.11 yuan; 1 contract payment: 4,907,193 yuan; 5 labor wages: 553,330.43 yuan; 1 lease payment: 610,948.37 yuan.
In addition, on the morning of July 31, 2020, the first creditors meeting of Jiangxi Orma Ceramics Co., Ltd. was held.
At the same time, on April 9, 2020, the People's Court of Yifeng County, Jiangxi Province issued an announcement indicating that the merger and bankruptcy liquidation case of Jiangxi Qingyuan Ceramics, Hexin Ceramics, Gangchen Ceramics, and Taylor Ceramics was postponed. The deadline for reporting claims in this case ends on May 12, 2020.
On June 10, 2020, according to information released by the China Court Network, workers from the above four ceramic companies have registered and verified one by one and received their long-overdue wages. It is reported that the industrial park court completed the salary payment of nearly 500 employees of four ceramic companies of more than 3 million yuan, and paid nearly 500,000 yuan in advance to 355 employees.

Xin Zhong Tao involved in 700 million debt
In 2020, the bankruptcy and liquidation case of Guangxi Xinzhong Ceramics Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Guangxi Xinzhong Ceramics") received widespread attention in the ceramic industry due to the large number of creditors and the large amount of debt involved. According to an announcement issued by the court, the total debt of Xinzhong Tao Ceramics is about 700 million yuan, and the number of creditors is about 100. In addition, there were 35 execution cases involving persons subject to execution, with an execution target of approximately 200 million yuan. In other words, Guangxi Xinzhong Tao still has a debt gap of approximately hundreds of millions of yuan and is seriously insolvent.
"Ceramic Information" compiled and analyzed the legal proceedings involved in Guangxi Xinzhong Ceramics and found that the main source of debt of Xinzhong Ceramics is the default in loan financing and payment for goods. According to incomplete statistics, from 2016 to 2020, Guangxi Xinzhong Tao's related loan debts were as high as approximately 651.978 million yuan. In addition, there were also supplier loan debts of approximately 80.9601 million yuan.
