The price adjustment notices issued by various ceramic enterprises show that this round of price increases are affected by the recent increase in raw material prices, and the operating costs of enterprises continue to rise, thus adjusting prices.

"Ceramic Information" learned that the prices of raw materials such as chemical raw materials, fuels, packaging accessories, etc. will rise sharply after the year, resulting in a sharp increase in production costs, which is the fundamental reason for this round of ceramic tile price increases.
“The prices of all materials have increased. Coal has increased by almost 200 yuan/ton compared to the beginning of the year. Methyl, trimer, and zirconium silicate have all increased. In addition, the heads of many ceramic companies told "Ceramic Information" that compared with the increase in production costs, the increase in ceramic tiles is minimal. "There is no way. It is difficult for ceramic tile prices to rise. We can only watch profits being further compressed."
In order to improve their competitiveness, many ceramic companies have upgraded their original production equipment. Firstly, they can increase output to reduce costs, and secondly, they can improve product quality.

In mid-March, Linyi interior wall tiles saw their first wave of price increases. According to "Ceramic Information", during this price increase, the price of interior wall tiles increased by 0.1 yuan. Due to the different production costs of various ceramic companies, during this price increase, the price of interior wall tiles from some manufacturers increased by 0.2 yuan cumulatively.
The direct reason for this price increase is that since production resumed this year, the production costs of various ceramic companies have been continuously pushed up. “The price of everything is going up,” said a person in charge of a ceramics company in Shandong who did not want to be named.
As we all know, from the beginning of this year, the prices of various domestic production raw materials have increased in turn. Not only that, after the increase, the prices of various raw materials have remained high, which has greatly increased the operating pressure of many ceramic companies. "If the money is not raised, the company will definitely lose money." said the person in charge of the above-mentioned ceramic company who did not want to be named.
It is understood that since the beginning of this year, ceramic companies have been facing the reality of rising production costs. Due to the difficulty in recruiting workers, various ceramic companies have successively raised wages to ensure that production workers are hired in a timely manner. Due to different positions, workers' wage increases range from 10% to 30%. For this alone, each ceramic enterprise in Shandong spends at least more than 100,000 yuan more per month; exceptIn addition to rising wages, the prices of various production raw materials have also increased in turn. Costs remain high
Shandong mid-plate prices rise across the board
The Shandong production area currently has Linyi Dajiang Building Ceramics Co., Ltd., Linyi Hongdu Building Ceramics Co., Ltd., Linyi Dongyu Building Ceramics Co., Ltd., Linyi Lianshun Ceramics Co., Ltd., Zibo Weineng Ceramics Co., Ltd., and Shandong Lihao Ceramics. Technology Co., Ltd. (formerly Xinjinyi Ceramics) has six ceramic companies producing medium-sized plates. Except for Weneng Ceramics, the medium plate production lines of the other five ceramic companies were all newly put into production this year.
Faced with rising production costs, six mid-plate manufacturers in Shandong have responded accordingly. All companies have completed or are in the process of raising mid-plate prices.
As one of the two ceramic companies currently producing medium plates in the Zibo production area, Weneng Ceramics has raised the price of its entire series of 400×800mm medium plates by 0.2 yuan per piece starting from April 1. According to "Ceramic Information", Lihao Ceramics has also recently issued a notice that it will fully increase the price of 400×800mm mid-plate from April 10. By then, mid-board products will become a collective price increase product in Shandong following the collective price increase of interior wall tiles in Linyi.
“The main reason is that the current production cost is high, but the price is far lower than the production cost.” said the person in charge of a ceramics company in Linyi who did not want to be named.
It is understood that as a product promoted by Shandong manufacturers this year, the medium plate has quickly been loved by consumers in the north, so customer orders have continued. Currently, various medium plate manufacturers in Shandong have a large number of orders, and most manufacturers have tight production schedules. Some manufacturers even have to reject orders that cannot be delivered in the short term.
But at the same time, some industry insiders believe that there are still some mid-board production lines around Shandong that have not yet been started. Once these production lines are fully resumed, the sales status of mid-plate panels may change to some extent. Then, as market competition becomes more intense, some manufacturers may face greater sales pressure.
